Video is a powerful tool for small businesses in the digital landscape. It enhances search engine visibility, fosters a strong emotional connection with audiences, and is highly shareable on social media, increasing brand reach. It helps people connect with your brand on a personal level. Plus, it's more affordable than you might think, giving you a big bang for your buck in the digital world.
A video strategy is a plan that outlines how you'll use video content to achieve your business or marketing goals. It's not just about making videos and chasing trends, it's creating the right kind of videos for your audience and deciding how and where to share them for maximum impact.
This strategy includes understanding what messages you want to convey, who your audience is, what type of videos will engage them (like tutorials, testimonials, or product showcases), and what platforms (like social media, your website, or YouTube) will best reach them.
It's a thoughtful approach to using video not just as content, but as a tool to grow your brand, engage your audience (maybe move them to tears a little?), and achieve specific business objectives.
Yes. Seriously though, we'll produce any video you need!
Brand messaging videos, promotional videos, product or service explainer videos, how-to videos, event highlight/hype videos, online education courses...we create video projects that drive your business needs. The only videos we do NOT do are wedding videos.
Every business is unique, which means each project is too. Our minimum level of engagement starts at $1,000 per project. We require a 50% upfront deposit to start pre-production and the remaining amount is due before delivery of the final videos. We also offer payment plans and retainer plans for year-round video production (which is a REALLY smart idea, just saying).
Yes and no. We can coordinate with your web designer (or with you if you're managing your site yourself) to make sure your video is displayed in the best way for your goals. We can provide short form content edits ideal for social media, but we do not manage social media content or posts (but we can connect you with digital marketing, social media management, and social media mentoring professionals).
Yes! However, we avoid formal scripting. Instead, we record footage in a natural way. We record interviews like conversations - you won't be staring down the lens, you'll be talking to a person, telling them about what you do and how you do it (because you do that all the time anyway, right?). In the post-production/editing process, we put the footage together to tell a story that meets the goal of the video.
There are tangible and intangible benefits to video content. Tangibly, you can measure ROI through increased sales, higher website traffic, improved conversion rates, and greater brand visibility.
Intangibly, video content increases familiarity with your brand, builds trust and credibility with your audience, and strengthens customer relationships. This is crucial for long-term business success but these metrics are harder to quantify. It's important to set clear goals and track the metrics relevant to you.
One thing we CAN guarantee: We won't just hand you a video and send you on your way. You'll know where and how the video will be shared and viewed (that's the magic of video marketing).
The bulk of your time is in the pre-production process, because perfect planning prevents poor performance, right?
For standalone projects, we'll start with a 45-minute Discovery Call consultation, then additional meetings as needed to nail down our production logistics (1-3 hours), finally, the production day itself where we shoot your video (2-8 hours).
If you decide to pursue video content creation on a regular basis, we'll tackle these elements monthly for 3, 6, 9 and 12 month projects.
Great video marketing requires knowledge of your business, your target audience, and your goals.
The best way to get started is to book a Discovery Call. You'll complete a short form before confirming your call, and then we'll spend 45 minutes or so in the Discovery Call identifying what you'd like to create to get you rolling on solutions to your business' woes with videos.
